Obesity is excessive fat accumulation in the body. For men with average body weight, body fat is 15-20% and in women it is between 25-30%. Be-cause it is not easy to determine the body fat percentage, obesity is defined as overweight rather than excessive fat. World Health Organisation (WHO) makes overweight and obesity definitions based on body mass index (BMI = Weight [kg] / Height [m2]). The increased prevalence of obesity is considered as a major health problem all over the world.
