Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the abductor hallusis muscle fibrosis in clubfoot with histopathological method.

Material and Methods: Fifteen abductor hallusis muscle specimens were removed during the complete subtalar release operation. The muscle specimens were stained with Masson's tricrom and investigated for fibrosis.

Results and Conclusion: Fibrosis were determined in all of the muscle specimens. Abductor hallusis muscle have a role in clubfoot pathogenesis and must be released or removed during the soft tissue surgery of clubfoot.
