Paraphimosis is an urologic emergency that occurs in uncircumcised men. The cause of paraphimosis is often iatrogenic. If left untreated, paraphimosis can have severe consequences, including strangulation of the glans and tissue necrosis. This painful condition requires immediate medical or surgical attention and early reduction. An 11 year old boy who was partially circumcised by an incompetent circumciser two years ago presented to our policlinic with painful penile swelling for 24 hours duration. His treatment consisted of a penile local anaesthetic block, dorsal slit and urgent circumcision. In this case, we present first case of paraphimosis due to residue foreskin that occurred in a previously circumcised boy. To the best of our knowledge, such a case presentation has not been previously reported in the literature.
