Dysphagia lusoria is used to describe dysphagia due to vascular pressure on the esophagus. The presence of this anomaly is usually asymptomatic, and the vast majority are discovered incidentally during imaging or autopsy. Symptoms such as dysphagia, cough and chest pain can be seen in approximately 20-40% of patients. The best method for diagnosing dysphagia lusoria is an initial barium esophageal radiograph followed by a CT or MRI scan. Management of patients with dysphagia lusoria varies depending on the severity of symptoms. In this article, we present a case with dysphagia lusoria diagnosed with dysphagia.
