The stilomastoid artery enters the skull through the stilomastoid foramen, an orificie it shares with the egressing facial nerve. By the early identification of the stylomastoid artery and by following it inferomedially for a few milimeters can be identified the location of the facial nerve in most of the cases. In the first case that had been performed superficial parotidectomy, high calibration stylomastoid artey was mimicing the main trunc's and the branching patern of the facial nerve. In the second case who had performed superficial partial parotidectomy due to Warthin tumour, high calibration aberran localization stylomastoid artery related with temporofacial branch of facial nevre was detected. This anatomic relationship which has been rarely seen between facial nevre and stylomastoid artery could cause facial paralyze and hemorrhage if it is not carefully dissected. For this reason, with frequently seen variation and this rarely seen anomaly have been presented and should be taken into consideration.
